Friday 13th, January 2012, what a special day for the Jiu Jitsu history. My Master, Royler Gracie was awarded a Black/Red belt after many years of training, competition and coaching. Gracie Humaita HQ was packed, full of old friends, of course, it was a major event. Before the presentation, Rolker called me on the side and asked if I could say some words in regards of Royler`s archivement. What a honour to be able to speak about my master in front of 100s of Back Belts and say what Royler represent to me and the rest of our Jiu Jitsu family. Trying to hold my emotions I started my speech saying how important Royler was in my formation as a man and finalized saying how Jiu Jitsu change our lives in a good and health way, its hard, its challenging and we love it.

I am very fortunate to be part of this and have the chance in pass our Gracie Humaita culture to our clubs in Australia.
